Mount Calvary (2026)

This wooden sculpture is inspired by Mount Calvary, a place symbolising sacrifice and redemption.

The carved trunk becomes a sacred landscape, shaped like living rock marked by time.

The three crosses at the top, simple and bare, stand out in the silence, recalling the Crucifixion.

The engraved staircase and marked path evoke spiritual ascent and the journey of man.

The white stones allude to silence, memory and the purity of sacrifice.

An intimate and reflective work, combining natural materials and Christian symbolism in a contemplative narrative.

Explaining the Solar System using a tree trunk (2025)

A mysterious journey through space, imagination and nature

This wooden sculpture is the result of a meeting between art, astronomy and botany. Carved from a large, centuries-old tree trunk, the work symbolically represents the Solar System, combining the growth of life on Earth with the eternal movement of the planets around the Sun.

The natural concentric rings of the trunk, which mark the tree's annual growth, recall the orbits of the planets in the artist's intentions. Engraved, on the other hand, are burnished discs symbolising the celestial bodies of our planetary system.

Sculpted and set discs, at various points on the trunk, represent the planets, shown here not to scale in terms of size or distance, but designed to represent the orbital movement and position of the planets in the Solar System.

The beating heart, at the centre, large and rich in veins, is the Sun, around which everything revolves.

This installation invites us to reflect on the profound connection between the Earth and the Cosmos, between the biological time of trees and the astronomical time of the planets.

Rocking (2022)

Imposing and light, made of wood and wind.

The intricate design of branches and weaves stretching out their hands is created to vigorously support and gently suspend... at the exact moment your feet lift off the ground and your eyes search the sky.

Swinging, between idle moments, in search of gusts of wind, leaves pirouetting and crumpling sunburnt.

It is a ringing chirp, sometimes, it is the chirping of cicadas or the crunch of a falling twig.

Nature within nature... Interpreted by the craftsman to mould in wood a privileged place, to welcome and cradle thoughts and listening to oneself.

Children's bench (2022)

A bench... on a child's scale!

The curved branches, supporting the back, are half moons that smile at the little travellers.

A tribute to baby steps, to one's place in the world, to those who intrepidly face the path and, eyes wide, enjoy every step.

Life After Death(2021)

Two Robinia plants, by now destined to be burnt after having exhausted their vital cycle, have found new life thanks to the work of the artist. He was able to grasp the differences and enhance them, giving them another breath of fresh air for a hundred years.

Creation and destruction (2020)

Two paths to discover the dichotomy of this sculpture, one carved in the bark and one on live wood.
It is possible to go through the evolution of man with elements in which the human being is distinguished by creative ingenuity, among others, the wheel, the process of building houses and factories, but also destructive elements such as bombs, anti-personnel mines up to nuclear weapons and the danger of radioactivity and viruses.
Elements of Creation lead to reflection, so that the power of the Sun, the presence of the Moon and Jupiter offer the dimension of a much more articulated whole.
There are many elements that the observer can see and interpret, above all the magnificence of the lighthouse, which, for a long time indefinitely, illuminates the path of man and directs him in the midst of the weather.

Kneeler (2019)

Jesus said to him, "Follow me!" He, leaving everything, got up and followed him.
                                                                                                                           (Lk 5:27-28)

Soft, imperfect, but also clear and clean lines support and accompany this instrument born for reflection and contemplation.
A work created by the hands of man, a wise work of craftsman who planes, engraves and finishes the structure of the wood.
But in the heart of the realization, in the frontal perspective, the Crucifix imposes itself, and seems to stretch its arms in a motion of majesty and infinite protection.

Tables (2018)

The fusion of different materials, harmonized by the skilful hands of the craftsman, gives birth to everyday furnishing elements that give new vigor to wood.
Stumps, polished roots, anchored to the natural stone, offer their knotty arms as a support to the crystal slabs.
This is how unique and original tables come to life, surprising for the intricate weaving of the raw material, and offer themselves in their natural beauty to the attentive eye of the observer.

The silhouette (2018)

The silhouette; haughty, elegant, welcomes the lightness of the wind among its forms. The blades of a mill stand out at the top. The solitary ivy climbs up the tree trunk. But, sinuous, a snake goes up to an ancient Eden.

Benches (2017)

A bench, designed for everyday toil, welcomes the wayfarer's thoughts.
The man, he lays down, supports the spirit, contemplates beauty.
The magic of wood, through knots and flicker, it follows the inflorescences of nature.
But at the hips, carved in wood, uncanny emerges the effigy of an edelweiss.

Bubbling waterfall (2017)

Waterfall of bubbling milk, life flows.
Nature creates wonders, man, attentive, admires and respects; he is enchanted.

Of Nature (2017)

In this work are accompanied by elements that the artist has collected by observing nature and its wonders. Mountain profiles follow one another, a stream that flows into a waterfall and then a lake. Flowers, trees and leaves make up the natural decorations of the work, on whose slopes the solemnity of a carved crucifix stands out.

Footprints and signs of humanity (2016)

Petra's profile stands out majestically on the side of the trunk.
And if there the man has dug into the rock, the sculptor here carves symbols into the wood, which they mark with their communicative power.
The work, made in 2016, date imprinted with Roman numerals, welcomes the Olympic circles to  commemorate the event, which was also held that year.
And then a succession of images: a maple leaf, a leafy tree, the Florentine lily.
The work of man, however, sinks into nature and crosses it. He opens the way, creates a path. And here is a tunnel and a succession of bridges that accompany along the road on the way up. At the top, stands a castle in which you can see elaborate details such as a well with a winch and turrets.

Greyhound (2014)

The refined details reveal the elegance of the breed, the pointed snout, the sinuous posture and the long neck.
Of the stylized dog in the installation at the centre of nature, one can catch the reserved and gentle attitude, which seems to watch over the visitor's passage in its statuesque position.

Pheasant (2014)

The depiction of this pheasant can be considered as an expression of the natural environment of the territory. The sharpness of the traits, the plastic and typical attitude of the species, which is characterized by shrewd and prudent observation, are striking. Among the various details, the long tail soars upwards and the burnished reflections of the original plumage are clearly visible.

Octopus (2013)

It unfolds with its bizarre and original forms, it remains wrapped on a stone base; its tentacles stand out in the air like question marks and seem to tickle the spectator's curiosity.
A little bit oracle, a little bit mystery; the arcane of sculpture is impressed in the spirit of the observer, leaving the awareness that only nature, sovereign, can create such fascinating intricates.
