Born in 1946, Francesco Bianchetti, also known as Franco, has spent most of his life an entrepreneur in the field of weaving and spinning of textiles.

 

During his retirement years he met the passion for craftsmanship and woodworking.

 

The first works are born from the desire to recover wooden logs otherwise destined for combustion.

 

The astonishment of a look, which never ceases to be brilliant and curious, leads him to discover how to use the most common work tools it is possible to design and create new lines.

 

As usual for manual work, the first pieces are the most dear to the heart and probably those in which the fineness of the lines is only hinted.

 

Over the years, manual skills improve and creativity finds a way to materialize through a technique that becomes increasingly accurate, albeit accompanied by the humility of those who are not looking for compliments.

 

This site was born with the sole intention of explaining a passion and finding wonder in front of wood and stone works, made with the hands of a man.
